Art Deco is a very popular field at the moment, with high prices being reached for unusual and interesting pieces, especially for well-known names such as Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper who are eternally sought-after.

This beautiful Art Deco bronze figurine modelled by Lorenzl sold well despite having had some restoration to her arm - she made £650 in our February sale.

Other Deco makes are also selling well, like Shelley, Carltonware, Royal Winton, Crown Devon and Crown Ducal.

Clarice Cliff Bizarre conical sugar shaker in Pansies pattern, circa 1928, hand painted with pink and blue flowers on green circles against yellow, blue and green dripware ground, base with printed signature, Newport pottery mark and hand painted 'Pansies', 14cm high.
Sold for £440.

Clarice Cliff Newport pottery fantasque bizarre hand painted red
roofs plate (produced 1931-1932) depicting house with
green tree and yellow clouds within concentric band border,
26cm diameter. Sold for £660.

An art deco large cast bronze cat lamp, unsigned, the head unscrewing to
enable a bulb to illuminate the red glass eyes, on wooden base,
the cat crouching and turning with one paw forward.
Sold for £780.
